Aquafil’s position of leadership has been a major factor in the steady growth of the Group’s sales over the years, accompanied by a positive trend in profits.
In 2010, the Group’s results were particularly favorable, especially when compared against the particularly difficult economic context which led to a sharp decline in global consumption levels and a general downturn in demand.
At December 31, 2010, total revenues amounted to € 432.3 million, and EBITDA was € 54.6 million.

More than 74% of revenues was earned abroad, a fact which validates the strong positioning capacity and the quality of the products manufacted by Aquafil Group.
