Relations with the stakeholders


Aquafil considers that a fundamental element of its corporate mission is close attention to the needs of people and the local communities of which it is part. At the same time, the Aquafil Group considers very important the supplier's behavior to create a sustainable and efficient supply chain, making easier to meet the needs and necessity of the customers.


  • Suppliers

    The Group elaborates a policy of relations with suppliers based on transparency, collaboration and mutual fairness, as we recognize the importance of the role played by them in promoting shared projects.

    The supply of more eco-friendly services and products lets us to achieve our goals.

  • Customers

    Aquafil considers its commitment and ability to interpret market needs to be a key factor in its business success, and for this reason establishes excellent relations with its customers. The Group develops partnership models which allow it to share policies and projects in the field of sustainability and product innovation.

    Thanks to the positive relationship with customers, the group can create a “virtuous circle” and a sustainable, green production chain, which responds to the expectations of “ecosystem protection” among the public, consumers and markets.

  • Local communities

    As part of its process of internationalization, the Aquafil Group has opened production plants in various parts of the world, characterized by significant cultural and social differences. While respecting the diverse local cultures, Aquafil is committed to maintaining standards which are comparable to those found in more advanced countries, both in terms of employee rights and well-being, and environmental protection.
    For example, the plants in Thailand and China provide:

    • Legal protection on a par with that found in European and American legislation, as regards welfare, the protection of health and safety, and of the environment;
    • A level of medical assistance, which is higher than that required under national laws;
    • A policy of safeguarding the local area and natural environment in which the production planst are based.
  • Employees

    Aquafil has always been committed to creating the right conditions in which to enable its workforce to realize their ambitions, by taking targeted actions intended to provide well-being, knowledge and safety:

    • Regular training based on structured, personalized programs tailored to reflect the varying levels of responsibility, to ensure that professional skills are kept up-to-date;
    • Training and investment in order to reduce the risk of accidents and foster a culture of safety in the workplace as an absolute priority;
    • Guidance and training on green issues.
